STORE MANAGER

Location: Upper East Side

Reports To: Director of Retail Operations

Full-time, In-Person

Duties/Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable store culture aligned with brand values.
  • Own hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, goal setting, and feedback conversations.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor, setting the standard for service and professionalism.

Sales & Client Experience

  • Drive store sales performance through strong floor leadership and client engagement.
  • Build and maintain a loyal client base through relationship-building and personalized outreach.
  • Ensure exceptional service standards across all customer touchpoints.
  • Partner with the Director of Retail Operations to execute store-specific sales strategies and goals.
  • Analyze sales KPIs (UPT, AUR, conversion, etc.) and take action to improve performance.
  • Propose, plan, and execute in-store events and activations to drive sales, strengthen client relationships, and increase local brand awareness.

Store Operations & Inventory Management

  • Oversee all daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management: receiving, transfers, audits, replenishment, and shrink prevention.
  • Maintain BOH and FOH organization to brand and operational standards.
  • Execute company SOPs consistently and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with corporate teams on inventory audits, product flow, and operational initiatives.

Visual & Brand Execution

  • Ensure the store reflects Still Here’s visual identity at all times.
  • Execute visual merchandising directives with attention to detail and product storytelling.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation.
  • Provide feedback to corporate teams on product performance and client response.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between store teams and corporate leadership.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively regarding store performance, staffing needs, and operational issues.
  • Support cross-store initiatives and brand-wide projects.
  • Represent the brand professionally within the local community.
 Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in premium apparel.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with a proven ability to develop teams.
  • Highly organized and operationally minded with strong attention to detail.
  • Sales-driven with experience analyzing and acting on performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as required.
