Weekend Retail Primary Associate

Location: New York

Full-time: In-Person + requires a commitment for at least 3 weekends/month

Still Here, based in New York, has an opening for a Primary Retail Associate position at its retail store location.

The Primary Retail Associate is responsible for managing the daily store business, presentation and owning the brand experience in-store. The Primary Retail Associate is expected to work alongside our retail associates, leading a team of customer-focused staff to provide best-in-class service and develop a loyal client base. This role reports to our Retail Coordinator but oversees the entirety of the store’s daily operations, including store merchandising, store inventory management and store presentation.

Responsibilities

Keyholder- responsible for opening and closing the store on a daily basis
Manage basic store opening and closing procedures such as cycle counts and cleaning duties, maintain visual standards including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting, and general maintenance as requested
Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through customer engagement
Master product knowledge, brand story, brand pillars and season strategy
Assisting in onboarding for all new store hires with support from Retail Coordinator.
Capture meaningful customer data for the purpose of building relationships to personalize future client development opportunities.
Maintain full organization of back of house and cleanliness of the store throughout day
Keep track of daily foot traffic and notes throughout day
Accurate reporting to Retail Coordinator at end of shift including any and all comments, notes, analytics and/or concerns
Recruit and train a high performing and responsible team members as needed

Qualifications

1+ year experience in Luxury or Contemporary retail
Interest in fashion, styling and being part of a growing team and brand
Must possess extensive customer service skills with a strong sense of intuition.
Be sales and customer service orientated, highly motivated.
Fashion savvy with tasteful presentation, good personality and good brand fit/style.
Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while being detail-oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technically savvy with experience in Google Suite and POS systems preferred
Ability to help plan, manage and oversee events and brand activations as needed

Physical and Mental Requirements

Go-getter, self-starter personality with positive energy and a desire to help build.
Comfortable with standing (and sitting) for extended periods of time
Comfortable with a weekend job commitment
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds safely when necessary
Ability to effectively interact with others internally and externally and work with many different personalities, keen ability to “read-the-room”
Ability to work on-site, in-store for at least 3 weekends per month.
Comfortable with consistently maintaining the agreed upon visual appearance and experience of retail store as instructed without deviation
